September has a way of focusing everyone. Summer’s over, and there’s one quarter left to make the moves you meant to make this year - a key hire, or your own next step.
When the opportunity cost is high, who you work with matters. With our team, you’re never relying on just one recruiter. Below, the team explains how we work: we share candidates and open roles every day, so you get the whole firm behind you, not just one person.

Work with one recruiter, work with the whole team
FRI Executive Recruitment Team
At most recruiting firms, each recruiter works on their own. They keep their candidates and open roles to themselves, and don’t share either with the people sitting next to them. At FRI, our team shares both, every day. Here’s why that matters.
Every morning, we meet and go through what’s on each desk: which candidates are active, which searches are open, and where each one stands. We call it a candidate share and an opportunity share. No candidate and no open role stays with just one person. That daily habit is what makes the rest of our approach work.
“We work nationwide and overlap markets. If I don’t have a candidate for your position right now, one of my teammates does.”
For candidates: one recruiter who already knows every open role
Executives who are exploring often talk to several recruiters at once. At a lot of firms, that can mean booking separately with three different recruiters at the same shop, sometimes for roles that overlap. Because FRI’s recruiters compare notes daily, that doesn’t happen here. One recruiter already knows where you stand and what might fit, so we don’t waste anyone’s time.
For hiring managers: 3 ways the whole team works your search
Your role is open to every recruiter’s candidates. Bring a trust officer or wealth advisor search and you’re not limited to one recruiter’s contacts.
Cross-market coverage from the whole team. The team works the same markets nationwide, so a recruiter without the right candidate today can often find one from a teammate. In one recent search, a recruiter had an opening in one market and a teammate had a strong candidate in another who was open to relocating — between them, they filled the role.
A second recruiter listening at intake. On intake calls, a second recruiter often catches what the first didn’t, and asks the question that gets at what the search really needs.
Senior wealth, trust, and fiduciary searches move on relationships built over years, and no single recruiter owns all the relationships. Sharing daily applies our whole network to your search.
6 specialists who all work wealth, trust, and fiduciary
FRI is a team of six, and everyone works the same part of the market. That’s different from a 50-person firm where one person covers accounting, another covers healthcare, and no one shares a vocabulary. When any of our recruiters joins a call, they already speak the client’s language and know the roles.
Whether you’re hiring or exploring, you get the whole firm
If you're hiring, one point of contact gives you the reach of the whole firm. If you're a candidate weighing a move, that same coordination means one conversation gives you a read on the whole market the team is seeing, not just the roles one recruiter happens to hold. Whichever side you’re on, reach out to the FRI team.
🙋🏼♂️ Ask a Recruiter
Q: There’s no role that fits me right now. Is it still worth getting on a call with your team?
Our take: Yes. The recruiters share candidates and open roles across the team every day, so once one of us knows what you’re looking for, the whole firm does. If there’s no right role open today, one might come from a teammate next month, and you won’t have to restart the conversation or check in with each of us separately. One recruiter carries your background to the team, and any of them can bring you the right opening when it comes up. Getting to know a specialist recruiter before you need one means you hear about the right role early, rather than after it’s posted.
